Created with the three time Grammy-winning studio duo of producer Larry Campbell and engineer Justin Guip, Long Way to the Bottom is Chris Castle's first full-length album in over a decade. It was recorded at Guip's Milan Hill Studios (just outside of Woodstock, New York) and features Castle on guitar and vocals, Guip on drums, Brandon Morrison on bass, and Campbell on just about everything with strings. WDVX calls it "a barn burner" while Americana UK said the record's got "some serious gravitas".
